Encouraging Word

2 Corinthians 5:9

“So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.” (NLT)

Disclaimer: However God is speaking to you—lean in and don’t ignore it. Your salvation isn’t something you earn through perfect behavior; it’s rooted in a real, living, and intimate relationship with the Father. Out of that relationship flows the desire to live righteously and walk in His ways. Never forget—John 3:16 is more than a verse; it’s the foundation of our faith. When you truly believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, everything changes. That belief is what aligns your heart with the Father and leads to a life transformed.

Unashamed Faith

|Unashamed | – Expressed or acting openly and without guilt or embarrassment.

|Faith | – Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

In other words, unashamed faith is expressing complete confidence in God without guilt or embarrassment. We openly act on faith with deep confidence in God, trusting in the divine.

| Hebrew Definition of “unashamed” | – Lo mitbayesh: often used to convey courage in faith. Boldly proclaiming faith or identity.

| Hebrew Definition of “faith” | – Emunah: active, steadfast trust, faithfulness, and reliance on God.

I am only just learning what this truly looks like in my life. When I met my husband, he truly made me realize that my faith had nothing on his. He showed me that if God said so, then it was so, and he was not wavering. I gleaned on this attribute about him, but it made me wonder, could I possibly have this too?

The answer to that question is yes, but again, I am only beginning to learn what that looks like for me. There are unknowns about this aspect of my life but what I do know is that my faith must be activated, no excuses. How:

  • Believing in the Mighty God that I serve and leaning into the unknown with trust and faith that He will see me through.
  • Being obedient no matter how uncomfortable I may be. Knowing that the key ingredient is obedience in order to grow and stretch my faith.
  • Asking for wisdom to gain divine strategy and insight to fuel my faith.

Friend, we must understand that faith can only happen alongside the Holy Spirit, not apart. We can talk about having or gaining faith but unfortunately it is only mere talk if we forget where it is fueled from.

I believe that I was doing things by my own strength prior to this revelation which caused me to become so burnt out and empty, that I started to lose the little faith that I did have. So the question that I ask myself, and I am asking you is:

Are you willing to have that unashamed and unwavering faith that He is calling us to have? My answer is yes! How about you?

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”– NIV

Are you open to going on this journey of faith with God and me? I hope so, I believe it will be an interesting but empowering ride.

I love you.

Signed, C.

“Friend, we must understand that faith can only happen alongside the Holy Spirit, not apart. We can talk about having or gaining faith but it is all a bunch of talk if we forget where it is fueled from.”

Scripture: John 15:2

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (ESV).”

I absolutely loved how you broke this down . I need to reread & meditate on this because I was given proverbs 3:5-6 in my prayer with the Lord & this just gives suffering a brand new meaning.

thank you for your obedience and I look forward to more encouraging words ♥️

Amen sis! Once I realized that being a disciple of Jesus means suffering as well, my perspective changed on suffering.
