Encouraging Word

Psalm 30:2

“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.” (NLT)

Disclaimer: However God is speaking to you—lean in and don’t ignore it. Your salvation isn’t something you earn through perfect behavior; it’s rooted in a real, living, and intimate relationship with the Father. Out of that relationship flows the desire to live righteously and walk in His ways. Never forget—John 3:16 is more than a verse; it’s the foundation of our faith. When you truly believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, everything changes. That belief is what aligns your heart with the Father and leads to a life transformed.

Healing in the tears

|Healing | – The process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.

| Hebrew Definition of “healing” | – rapa (noun): restoring to normal, an act which God typically performs.

|Tears | – A vital fluid produced by lacrimal glands to lubricate, nourish, and protect the eyes, composed of water, electrolytes, and oils.

| Greek Definition of “tears” | – dakruo: to shed tears or to weep. Refers to quiet, silent tears or an abrupt release.

There is something beautiful about allowing tears to flow down your face. Often, in society, it is looked upon as weak or soft…but can I tell you something?

Its NOT!

It actually releases pressure, heaviness, and stress out of your body. According to “the internet, google,” tears can physically release emotional distress, flush out stress hormones, and release feel good hormones which reduce physical and emotional pain.

Biblically speaking:

  • Psalm 126:5- “Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee.” (TPT)
  • Psalm 56:8- “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” (NLT)
  • Psalm 30:5-For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (NKJV)

Friend, tears are not a sign of weakness but of freedom on the other side. It is a form of healing which involves releasing the hurt and pain that your body holds on to; And sometimes it is unrecognizable. There is a piece of your heart, if not the full whole, that becomes softer when you let the tears stream. You become like a child again, needing a tender touch (like a hug) from your parent as they tell you everything is going to be alright and wipe away your tears. This is God; He is wiping away your tears reminding you that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is right there with you in all of it.

Allow the healing waters to release as you lay your heart in His hands; Trusting Him to heal you from the inside out. He is collecting your tears and is keeping them to continue to water the seed that He planted within you before you were formed in your mother’s womb.

The Holy Spirit is so sweet in walking us through the process of refinement while simultaneously regulating our nervous system back to normal (healing). And can I be honest with you, I am shedding a few tears right now writing this. There is something about letting it go and letting God do the rest, you feel me?

So, do not shy away from allowing them to flow, God made us with emotions. He knows all about them, trust me & He knows about yours too. You are not too grown or too big to cry- there is growth in the tears.

Revelation 21:4

“He will wipe away evert tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because previous things have passed away.”– CSB

And you might be surprised of what is set free from your body when you allow the healing tears to flow.

I love you.

Signed, C.

” The Holy Spirit is so sweet in walking us through the process of refinement while simultaneously regulating our nervous system back to normal (healing).”

Scripture: John 15:2

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (ESV).”

I absolutely loved how you broke this down . I need to reread & meditate on this because I was given proverbs 3:5-6 in my prayer with the Lord & this just gives suffering a brand new meaning.

thank you for your obedience and I look forward to more encouraging words ♥️

Amen sis! Once I realized that being a disciple of Jesus means suffering as well, my perspective changed on suffering.
